Chocolate Cherry Mini Pie

Raw vegan creamy chocolate cherry heaven – a little bit like Blackforest Cherry Cake, just without any dairy, white sugar or flour.

Makes 6-8 pies

Ingredients:

Base:
1/2 C almonds, ground
1/2 C coconut flakes
1/4 C dates, chopped or 2 TBSP date paste
1 pinch vanilla
1 pinch salt

Filling:
1/2 C cacao
1/4 C agave
1 avocado
2 dates, de-stoned
1/4 C water
1 TBSP hemp seeds
1 pinch cinnamon
1 C cherries

Instructions:

Base:
Blend all, press into small pie tins. Put aside.

Filling:
Blend everything except cherries.
Chop up cherries, divide evenly between mini cakes.
Spread filling on top.
Decorate with more cherries.
Refrigerate until devouring.

Tips:
1. You can also freeze the pies for up to 3 months
2. You could of course make one large pie instead.
