Yippieh – Strawberries are coming back in season – delicious sweet, red goodness! When eaten fresh, they are rich in vitamin C, manganese, 11% fiber and polyphenol antioxidants, they support eye and skin health and improve blood sugar regulation.
Strawberries can also act anti-inflammatory since they contain a combination of phytonutrients – such anthocyanins, ellagitannins, flavonols, terpenoids, and phenolic acids – so get some strawberries into you!
This Strawberry ThickShake is everything you would ever want from a milk shake, it’s thick, creamy and sweet full of strawberry flavour.
– Water and jelly of 1 young coconut or 1 cup coconut flakes, ground
– 125g ripe strawberries
– 1 medium ripe mango
– 1 inch – 2.5 cm piece of vanilla pod
Simply blend all ingredients thoroughly until the consistency is thick and creamy.
Pour into tall glass, add ice if you wish enjoy!
Raw Coach Top Tipps:
- Use frozen fruit if you prefer an ice cool drink or add ice instead of water in the original blend. If the shake is too thick for you, just add more water until you are happy with the thickness!
