Recipe: CashCabbage Spread with crackers

Ingredients:

· 1 kg sauerkraut
· 250 grams Cashews
· 1 red pepper
· Salt and pepper for seasoning
– Claudia likes it spicy and adds cayenne pepper!

Preparation:

Drain the sauerkraut.
Blend cashews with cabbage and peppers.
Season to taste.

You may also like to add finely chopped onion and / or garlic.
Tastes great with raw crackers.

Simple Cracker Recipe:

Ingredients:

· 250 grams of flaxseed
· 250 grams of sunflower seeds
· 200 grams of dried tomatoes (in olive oil)
· 1 onion
· 2 cloves of garlic
· Basil, salt, pepper

Preparation:

Soak flax until the water is like jelly.
Grind sunflower seeds into flour.
Finely chop the onion.
Puree the tomatoes with olive oil.
Crush the garlic with a knife.
Mix everything with your hands until the dough holds together well.
Season with basil, salt and pepper.
Spread the dough on a baking sheet or flex sheet and dehydrate for 6 hours at 40 degrees Celsius.

Claudia likes to add a handful of wild garlic leaves to it.
In spring she harvests lots of wild garlic in the woods and freezes it so she always has some on hand.
You can use give zucchini, carrots, etc.
